Joining secret societies such as the Freemasons is strictly forbidden by all Eastern Orthodox, Oriental Orthodox, Eastern Catholic, Roman Catholic, Anglican, Baptist, Methodist, Pentecostal & most other mainstream Protestant Churches.
The Eastern Orthodox, Oriental Orthodox, Eastern Catholic & Roman Catholic Churches actively ex-communicate any of its clergy or laity who are members of the Freemasons.
The Eastern Orthodox, Oriental Orthodox, Eastern Catholic, Roman Catholic & most Protestant Churches state that Feemasonary is contradictory to Church doctrine & beliefs & therefore cannot be tolerated in any shape or form.
Just because the Freemasons allow & accept people from any Christian Denomination & state that they swear allegance to God or the great Architect as they prefer to call God, does not change the fact that all Church Denominations totaly forbid such membership amongst its clergy & laity.
To be a Freemason is Anti Christian & a sin in the eyes of all mainstream Churches.
